Estimated container utilization

Theoretical utilization compares total volume and weight with example equipment capacity. Planned container count applies the selected utilization allowance. Single-SKU fit uses orthogonal box rotation only and does not test door openings, pallets, bracing, load distribution or practical loading sequence.

Turn the estimate into a shipment plan

Send the calculated cargo profile to US Trade.

The calculator will carry the dimensions, weights and route details into the quote form so our team can validate the mode, equipment and pricing basis.

Method notes

Useful for planning. Not a carrier quotation.

Actual billing depends on carrier rules, lane, service, packaging, rounding, minimums, equipment availability and verified dimensions and weight.

01

CBM

Length × width × height after conversion to meters, multiplied by quantity.

02

Air dimensional weight

The default air-freight setting divides cubic centimeters by 6,000. Courier and UPS factors can be selected.

03

Chargeable weight

The tool compares actual and dimensional weight and displays the greater planning value.

04

Container capacity

Example dry-container capacities and payloads support early equipment planning; actual units vary.

05

Mixed cargo

Multiple product lines are combined by total volume and weight. This is not a 3D stowage optimization.

06

Professional review

US Trade can verify cargo data, route constraints, equipment selection and carrier-specific billing rules.
